The Leader of the Conservatives has formally asked the Mounties to investigate Prime Minister Trudeau’s involvement in the SNC Lavalin to see if the criminal code was actually broken but a high ranking Tory says they want to all the details.
Appearing on the NL Morning News, Deputy Opposition leader, Lisa Raitt thinks there’s still more to the story. “We know that there’s been unethical behaviour, the Ethics Commissioner’s told us.”
“So now the question is, what more information can come out because every time we have a new look at this, from a different person, there seems to be more information just telling us exactly what was going on and we think it’s important for the Canadian public to fully understand what was happening in the Prime Minister’s office and whether or not there’s any criminality involved.”
When asked if going after the PM was going to be her party’s main focus heading into the fall campaign, Raitt adamantly said “No, not all”
