It’s been a big summer at the Big Little Science Centre.
Their summer camps filled up fast again this year with the robotics camp again being the most popular.
Jennifer Davis of the centre was on the NL Morning News and reminded everyone that they’re not just about the summer. “In September we’re still open to the public Tuesday to Saturday 10-4. And then we start up with field trips and school programs as well and we also do birthday parties throughout the whole year.”
There’s a cool space exhibit to commemorate the Apollo Moon landing anniversary that featured a model of the landing craft and the Saturn five rocket that launched it that was made especially for centre on a 3-D printer by a Kamloops resident.
The space exhibit in only here until the end of the month when the centre shifts to it’s school year program.
