Team Ropers Lincoln Yarama of Chase and Carson Weaver formerly of Kamloops claimed the Canadian Finals Rodeo Rising Stars team roping title in Red Deer, AB Saturday night.
The two have been roping together through the BC High School rodeo circuit. Weaver and his family have now relocated to Stettler, AB while Yarama is attending 1st year college in Olds, AB.
It’s the second year they have competed in the CFR event.
