A new boutique hotel in Aberdeen is opening today.
The Hue Hotel on Hugh Allan Drive is family owned and at five storeys is the tallest building in Aberdeen.
Owner Jassi Sangha says the family has owned the land for more than 20 years and pulled the trigger after Cascades Casino opened across the street.
“We have 36 rooms in total, of the 36 we have 24 which are apartment-style kitchenettes. The rooms are a little bit more trendier, little bit more boutique, little bit more modern. So we’re hoping to push for clientele for business people, for people who are coming into town for a weekend. We’re trying to have that upscale market in Kamloops.”
Sangha says the hotel is looking to partner with the casino in some aspect as well.
We are proud to announce we are opening Friday November 15th! Come stay at our brand new hotel for 20% of our best available rates!! #stayingwithhue pic.twitter.com/HyzfuITmoQ
