A Clinton area man in his 40’s has died after a transport truck crash, north of Clinton this morning.
BC RCMP Traffic Services Cpl. Mike Halskov says the incident happened on Highway 97 near Big Bar Road, around 9:35 a.m..
“Upon arrival, police discovered that a northbound transport truck, for reasons that remain under investigation, left the highway, rolled, and killed the driver,” he said.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and Halskov says at this time, there is no evidence to suggest criminality as a factor.
“Road and weather conditions were good at the time of the collision,” he added.
