After being left out of the initial 31 player announcement, Blazers forward Connor Zary has been added to the selection camp roster set to take place in Oakville, ON.
He will miss the rest of the Blazers eastern road swing with camp set to take place Dec. 9 to Dec 12.
Zary added two assists last night in a 5-4 overtime loss last night in Winnipeg to give him 41 points in 28 games this season.
The Blazers are 1-0-1 on their eastern road swing, having beaten Brandon 5-4 in a shootout.
Martin Lang (CZE) and Inaki Baragano (SUI) will also be away from the team after also being named to selection camps for their respective countries.
This year’s World Juniors will be held in the Czech Republic beginning Dec. 26.
