Logan Lake RCMP are investigating a potential case of child luring that happened last Thursday.
Around 3:30 p.m., a 10-year-old girl was approached by an older man in a grey SUV, who offered her candy near Logan Lake Elementary School.
The man is described as older and balding with a mustache. He was possibly wearing a grey jacket at the time. Police are asking the public to keep an eye out and contact them if you have any information about the incident.
As well, school staff are reminding students to not approach strangers, and to report any such incidents of possible luring to police immediately.
“[School staff] have instructed the students not to walk alone and to make sure they are telling their trusted adults where they are,” said a notice from the school.
If you have more information about this incident, you are asked to contact Logan Lake RCMP at 250-523-6222.
