As BC Transit gets rid of one of one of its health connection buses in Kamloops, it isn’t saying if ridership is healthy on other routes.
The Logan Lake-to-Kamloops bus will be ending on May 4.
BC Transit Spokesperson Jonathan Dyck was asked about other Health Connections between rural communities and Kamloops.
“We recognize it’s an important service. It’s a service where priority is given to people who are travelling to non-emergency medical appointments, but it is a service that everybody can use if space is available.”
Apart from Logan Lake, BC Transit runs medical buses to Kamloops that connect to more than a dozen smaller communities.
