The provincial gang unit has arrested more than three-dozen people and seized more than two-dozen weapons after a weekend trip to Kamloops.
The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit says in total, its members made 38 arrests. Weapons seized included a .22-caliber handgun, 16 knives, a replica hand gun and a BB gun, as well as three cans of bear spray and two brass knuckles.
The unit also has had two vehicles impounded and seized $400 cash.
Further details on the arrests and seizures are unclear, and we have reached out to CFSEU Sgt. Brenda Winpenny for more information.
