
UPDATE – A day after responding to a stabbing at the Husky gas station on Columbia Street, Kamloops RCMP have released a surveillance photo of the suspect.
The man in question is wearing a black and grey hoodie and grey sweatpants. A man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says that suspect in question walked across the street from the Husky to the Star Lodge with two other men.
ORIGINAL – Kamloops RCMP are investigating a stabbing that was reported in Lower Sahali earlier today.
Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says police were called to the Husky gas station on Columbia Street West just before noon when the incident happened.
The victim is a man who was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and Shelkie says that person walked across the street from the Husky to the Star Lodge with two other men.
She says the suspect was last seen running across McGill Street towards the Wendy’s.
That person was wearing a black hoodie with grey sleeves and a large logo on the front, as well as grey sweatpants and white runners with a black stripe.
Anyone with information is asked to call police, and Kamloops RCMP say they want to talk to the two men who assisted the victim as well after he was stabbed.
