
Three Kamloops Blazers are ranked in the final NHL Central Scouting draft rankings for the 2019/20 season.
Forward Connor Zary is down three spots from 12th in the mid-term rankings, and is now listed as the 15th best prospect among North American skaters. The Saskatoon native had 38 goals and 48 assists for 86 points in 57 games this season, and was named to the WHL’s First Conference all-star team on Wednesday.
Fellow forward Josh Pillar was ranked the 120th best North American skater, up 11 spots from the mid-term rankings.
Goalie Dylan Garand is up a spot from seventh in the mid-term rankings among North American goalies, to sixth place.
Zary, a projected first rounder, was making plans to go to Montreal at the end of June for the NHL Draft before the NHL postponed the event because of COVID-19.
