Police have arrested three men after a shooting on the North Shore this morning, which sent a man in his 30s to hospital with serious injuries.
Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says Mounties were called to Tranquille Road and Yew Street at 4:20 a.m. for reports of a fight, which is where they found the man who had been shot.
The men arrested were “in the area” of where the shooting victim was found.
As of 7:30 a.m., Kamloops RCMP still have Tranquille Road blocked at Yew Street and are continuing to investigate.
The motive for the shooting is not clear, and neither is connection between the victim and the suspects. No charges have been laid at this point.
More to come.
