Police and the BC Coroners Service are investigating after a man in his 60s was found dead in a vehicle just east of Kamloops early this morning, around 6:30 a.m.
In a statement, RCMP Southeast District spokesperson Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey says the man was found in the area of Barnhartvale Road, just west of Highway 97.
“At this time, criminality is not suspected in the man’s death as the investigation continues,” he said, noting that for privacy reasons, police will not be naming the victim.
O’Donaghey says at this time, there will be no further information to be released.
