A multiple vehicle collision near the intersection of Victoria Street and 10th Avenue.

The crash occurred just after 10:30 this morning and resulted in traffic disruptions to the east bound lanes.

Six vehicles are involved.

RCMP are controlling traffic. East and westbound lanes are alternating while southbound traffic is being rerouted west on Victoria.

A witness, who was in one of the vehicles told NL News he was waiting for a red light in the eastbound lanes when a RV travelling westbound ran the red light hitting a southbound delivery truck.  Those vehicles then careened into the parked vehicles including a Canada Post truck.

Thankfully, it appears there were only minor injuries.
