Kamloops RCMP are investigating after a crash in the 600-block of Seymour Street early this morning.

Police say the vehicle was heading down Seymour Street at 1 a.m. this morning, when it collided with a parked car and flipped. The driver fled the scene prior to police getting there, though witnesses were able to give a description of the woman who was allegedly behind the wheel to officers.

“At this time, the driver of the vehicle has not been identified,” said Cpl. Jodi Shelkie. “We do have the registered owner’s information and will be following up with them today for more information.”

Shelkie says the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
