UPDATED:
A crash between two motorcycles on Tunkwa Lake Road yesterday happened when a motorcycle crashed while driving over a cattleguard, according to Kamloops RCMP.
Sgt. Brandon Buliziuk says the two bikers were riding together, and says the second motorbike couldn’t get out of the way when the first biker crashed.
He says neither speed nor substances were involved, and says police have chalked it up to rider inexperience.
One person was taken to hospital from that crash, and Buliziuk says that person had a broken limb. The other person involved had minor injuries.
The crash happened at 11:19 a.m. about 10 kilometres north of Tunkwa Provincial Park, along Tunkwa Lake Rd.
