Kamloops Mounties are investigating an alleged child luring incident in Aberdeen last night.
Police say two young girls were walking on Linfield Drive last night at 6:45 p.m. when a white four-door car stopped, and the driver offered them a ride.
The two girls then left and went home.
Police now want to talk to the driver of the white car, who is described as being about 20 years old and “non white,” with short hair.
Mounties say it’s unclear what his intentions were, but the Kamloops-Thompson School District sent a letter out to parents warning of a potential attempt of child-luring.
Police say it is a good time for parents to tell their kids to say “no” to strangers if they feel uncomfortable.
