The Trans-Canada Highway is closed right now at Three Valley Gap because of flooding.
The closure is about 15 kilometres west of Revelstoke and was reported at around 6 a.m. this morning. The road is flooded for a stretch of about four kilometres, according to DriveBC.
There’s no word on when the highway could reopen, and another update is now expected at 4 p.m.
The washout comes after heavy rain through the day yesterday in the southern Interior.
Our crew is on the scene working hard to get everyone moving along #BCHWY1 again. Please check @DriveBC for updates
