A man was taken to hospital in critical condition last night after reportedly being hit by a train near downtown Kamloops.
BC Ambulance was called to the 200-block of Victoria Street at 5:35 p.m. on Monday night, to reports of a man who was on the train tracks.
BCEHS says two ambulance crews went to the scene and treated a patient who was then taken to hospital.
Calls into emergency crews say the person was “bleeding from his head.”
Kamloops Fire Rescue did not have a file on the incident, and the Kamloops RCMP watch desk directed NL News to CP Rail’s media line, and a request for more detail has not been returned.
