One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries after crashing their car into a power pole in Brock this morning.
Kamloops RCMP Staff Stg. Edward Preto says the crash happened at 12:35 a.m., on Parkcrest Avenue near Nicolani Drive.
Preto says the driver lost control before hitting the power pole, and Kamloops Fire Rescue had to use the jaws of life to extricate her.
The cause is still being investigated.
Meanwhile, as of just before noon, power has been restored to nearly 150 BC Hydro customers. Those users, between Parkcrest, Singh Street, Tranquille Road and Ollek Street, were in the dark for nearly 12 hours because of that crash.
