A Kamloops woman is $50,000 richer after winning on a scratch ticket.

Tammy Blackie says she is riding a ‘crazy roller-coaster of emotions’ after she bought the ticket at the Canco Car Wash on Tranquille Road. She says she was enjoying a cup of coffee in her backyard when she scratched the ticket.

“I was like, ‘Oh my gosh!’ I could not believe it,” she said.

Blackie says she plans to use her winnings to buy a new phone as well as move to Penticton.
