
A city of Kamloops staffer who tested positive for COVID-19 is set to return to work on Thursday.
Parks and Civic Facilities Manager Jeff Putnam tells NL News that he is feeling better after a bout with COVID-19.
The city of Kamloops said on September 2 that a staff member tested positive for COVID-19 but did not say who that person was. Putnam later identified himself on social media.
There was no risk for any other staff members or members Kamloops city council.
City Manager David Trawin previously noted that the Chief Medical Health Officer for Interior Health said the city’s COVID-19 safety protocols prevented other people from being exposed to the virus.
