Kamloops RCMP are looking for a suspect after an armed robbery at the Dominos Pizza on Columbia Street last night.
Police say it happened around 10:55 p.m. yesterday when a man approached an employee and pointed what looked like a firearm while asking for money from the register.
This person then left with an undisclosed amount of money and was seen heading north on Columbia Street on a small bike.
“We are obviously taking this event very seriously, and hope that the pictures released will assist in identifying this suspect,” said Staff Sgt. Mat van Laer. “The employee responded the best he could, and we are very happy nobody got hurt.”
The suspect is a white man standing about five-foot-four. He was wearing a dark jacket with 3 lines from the shoulder to the wrists, jeans and was carrying a square satchel style black bag with a single strap.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP detachment.
