
A pair of B.C. party leaders will be in Kamloops tomorrow, Oct. 17.
NDP Leader John Horgan will be making a healthcare related announcement at the Thompson Rivers University International Building, alongside Kamloops NDP candidates Sadie Hunter and Anna Thomas.
He is also set to make stops in Merritt and Penticton tomorrow, before heading to Oliver later in the day.
Also making a stop tomorrow in the Tournament Capital is Trevor Bolin, the leader of the BC Conservatives.
Bolin will be at Jaxsen Pacific on the North Shore at 4 p.m. along with Kamloops-North Thompson candidate Dennis Giesbrecht to discuss issues being faced by BC’s small businesses.
BC Liberal leader Andrew Wilkinson made a stop in Kamloops on Oct. 2 where he announced an expansion to the Car 40 program alongside candidates Peter Milobar and Todd Stone.
Sonia Furstenau, the leader of the BC Greens, has so far not made a trip to Kamloops during the election campaign. The Green Party has two candidates in the Kamloops ridings – Dan Hines and Thomas Martin.
Also running in Kamloops-North Thompson is independent candidate Brandon Russell.
Advance polling is now underway across the province, with Election Day next Saturday, Oct. 24.
