
Elections B.C. says as estimated 681,055 people voted over the seven days of advanced polls across the province.
Data released this morning shows the last day yesterday, Oct. 21, was the busiest with 116,104 votes cast, eclipsing the 112,016 votes cast on the first day of advanced polls on Oct. 15.
In Kamloops-North Thompson, 8,041 people voted in advance out of a 44,809 registered voters, while in Kamloops-South Thompson, there were 9,061 advanced polls cast, with 46,345 registered voters as of Sept. 26.
In the Fraser-Nicola riding, there were 6,344 votes cast over the seven days, with 26,500 registered voters according to Elections BC data.
Elections B.C. also says as of 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 21, there were about 396,900 mail-in ballot packages have been returned, about 55 per cent of the total number of packages that were requested by British Columbians.
You can still drop off you mail-in voting packages at Elections B.C. offices set up in each riding.
