One person has died after an accident this morning on Highway 97, south of Williams Lake.
North District RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Madonna Saunderson tells NL News two vehicles were involved.
“I have no particulars on the vehicles involved. However one person has died as a result of this crash. And it got reported to us at 5:02 this morning, on Highway 97 in the area of 141 Mile House.”
Further details of the victim are not clear.
Saunderson couldn’t immediately comment on a potential factor.
A snowfall warning was in place in the southern Cariboo and the highway was blanketed in snow at the time of the accident.
