Four people in Kamloops have been arrested after a report that a home in Knutsford was shot at today.
Sgt. Jeff Bingley says a witness reported seeing a red Kia Soul leave the area, which he says had been stolen on Saturday.
Mounties say the driver of the stolen Kia refused to stop after police tried to pull it over on Hugh Allan Drive, and again on Hillside Drive.
Police laid down a spike belt at the bottom of Summit Drive and popped two of its tires, but says the driver continued on.
Not long after, police managed to stop the vehicle on Mt. Paul Way just north of the Red Bridge, which had four people inside.
Bingley says two people were arrested at that scene, and two others who fled the scene were arrested after a police dog was used.
Further details have not been released and police are continuing to investigate. It’s also unclear whether the alleged shot fired at a Knutsford was targeted.
