
UPDATE:
A snowfall warning has now been issued for all three sections of freeway in the southern Interior.
The warning is for the Coquihalla from Hope to Kamloops and for the Okanagan Connector east of Merritt.
The forecast says up to 20 centimetres of snow is expected tonight south of Merritt on the Coquihalla, with up to 10 cm expected from Merritt to Kamloops and for the Connector.
Environment Canada says heavy snow will end near midnight as the snow level rises.
A snowfall warning is also in place for Highway 97 from Clinton to 100 Mile House, with 10-15 cm expected at the Begbie Summit before morning.
In Kamloops, the forecast calls for 5-10 cm tonight in higher elevations and 2 cm at the valley bottom,
