
The BC CDC says there was possible COVID-19 exposure on another flight into Kamloops after someone onboard tested positive for the virus.
Passengers who were on WestJet flight 3111 from Calgary on Nov. 15 are being asked to monitor for symptoms and get tested for COVID-19 if symptoms like a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or a loss of sense of taste or smell begin to develop.
It is unclear when this person tested positive for COVID-19, though people who were in rows 12 to 18 may be at a higher risk of infection.

This is the sixth flight into Kamloops with a confirmed case of COVID-19 on board, and the fifth since Sept. 16. Four of the six flights into Kamloops with cases on board have been WestJet flights from Calgary, while the other two were Air Canada flights from Vancouver.
Last week, British Columbians were told to reduce travel both within and outside the province because of surging COVID-19 cases.
