Kamloops RCMP are hoping to find the owner of a wedding ring that was turned into police on Monday evening.
Sgt. Darren Michels says it appears the ladies wedding ring would be of both monetary and sentimental value to the owner.
“Our investigators have searched our reported lists of lost items and have not been able to locate anything so far,” he said, in a statement. “The good Samaritan [who turned the ring in] and the RCMP are hoping to make someone’s Christmas and would like to reunite the owner with their ring.”
If you lost a wedding ring, Michels says to call Kamloops RCMP and ask for Cst. Michael Scherpenisse. Police did not release a description of the ring noting the owner will have to describe it to officers when they come to pick it up.
