There will be three Kamloops Blazers taking part in the World Junior Hockey Championships that get underway later this week.
Defenseman Inaki Baragano has been named an alternate captain on the Swiss junior team, even though Switzerland still need to make a few cuts and unveil their final roster.
The 19-year-old Baragano has been with Blazers for one season where he scored five times and assisted on 11 other goals.
Joining Baragano will be his fellow Blazers teammates Dylan Garand and Connor Zary who are both on Team Canada.
The World Juniors get underway on Christmas Day this year, and Canada will begin its title defence against Germany on Boxing Day. The Swiss play the first game of the tournament on Christmas Day against Slovakia.
Radio NL will carry all Team Canada games live
