The B.C. government is advising the public about traffic impacts expected next week through Valleyview, when crews do work on traffic lights on the Trans-Canada Highway.

Crews will be changing the timing of lights at Vicars Road, Tanager Drive and River Road.

The province says work will happen at the Vicars Road intersection Monday, at Tanager Drive on Tuesday and at River Road on Wednesday. It will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on each of those days.

The changes will also lead to improved safety at the CP Rail crossings adjacent to those intersections, according to the government.

Drivers also are asked to check DriveBC for traffic information on those days.
