B.C. has now seen 1,010 deaths from COVID-19; passing the grim milestone over the weekend.

Within IH, there are now 880 active cases, with 36 people in hospital and nine people in intensive care.
Meanwhile, Henry says 59,902 people have now been vaccinated against COVID-19 in the province. She says Moderna has been distributed less as it’s been taken to rural communities.
Henry adds B.C. will be out of the Pfizer inoculation today, temporarily, but says new shipments of both vaccines will arrive this week. As of today, there have been 48,533 doses of the Pfizer vaccine distributed and 11,369 doses of Moderna’s vaccine.
The Kamloops-Thompson School District and Nicola-Similkameen School District have also seen new exposures of COVID-19 in schools, with the virus traced to high schools in Merritt and Barriere. Another exposure has also been reported at the Independent grocery store in Kamloops.
