Police are asking for help to find a missing man who is believed to be in the southern Cariboo.
Clinton RCMP say Robert Dale Stanton, who’s often known as Dale, was last heard from 10 days ago, on Jan. 9.
Mounties think Stanton is in the Clinton or 70 Mile House area, and don’t think his disappearance is suspicious.
“Since Dale Stanton’s disappearance, police have followed up on several leads. RCMP is very concerned for Dale’s health and well-being and friends and family report that it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this long,” RCMP spokersperson Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey says.
Stanton is 57 years old and described as being white, six-foot-one and 271 pounds, with grey hair and hazel eyes. Police say he may be driving his truck, which is a grey, 2012 Ford F-150 pickup, with a B.C. license plate of PN-7189.
Anyone with information is asked to call Clinton RCMP at 250-459-2221, or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
