
A snowfall warning has now been issued for the Coquihalla Highway tonight south of Merritt.
Environment Canada says 15 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected to come down by tomorrow morning between Hope and Merritt. Another 5-10 cm is expected during the day tomorrow.
No warning has been issued for the Coquihalla from Merritt to Kamloops, but the forecast is calling for 5-10 cm of snow tonight on that portion of the highway.
A snowfall warning is also in place for the Trans-Canada Highway from Eagle to Rogers Pass, saying 20-25 cm of snow will fall by tomorrow night, with heavy snow starting this evening.
