Kamloops RCMP say a 25-year-old man who was wanted on firearms offences is back in police custody.

Const. Crystal Evelyn says Steven Stuart Douglas Gardner was arrested in Chase on Feb. 1.

“Members of our Kamloops Targeted Enforcement Unit located him at a residence in Chase,” she told NL News. “With the assistance of Chase RCMP, they were able to arrest him and take him into custody where he currently remains.”

Evelyn says Gardner has a court appearance next Monday, Feb. 8.
