An employee at the Shoppers Drug Mart at the Columbia Place Shopping Centre has tested positive for COVID-19.

In an online update, parent company Loblaws says the employee last worked on Monday, Feb. 1. Further details of the case have not been provided.

This is the second Shoppers Drug Mart employee to test positive for the virus in Kamloops after one case at the Valleyview location back in October.

Loblaws has been keeping an updated list of employees who have tested positive for COVID-19 at locations around the country.

Two other Loblaw employees – one at Cain’s Independent Grocer on the North Shore and one at the Real Canadian Superstore in Sahali also tested positive for COVID-19 last month.
