According to an update from the BC Centre for Disease Control, the Kamloops local health area saw 161 cases between Jan. 31 and Feb. 6. The Kamloops LHA also includes Chase, Sun Peaks, Barriere, Little Fort, Tobiano, Savona and Logan Lake.

Also, the Cariboo-Chilcotin and 100 Mile House local health areas have continued to see substantial drops, week-over-week, in new COVID-19 cases, after Interior Health issued public health warnings for both areas last month about the rate of community spread.
The Cariboo-Chilcotin LHA saw 28 cases last week, compared to 72 from Jan. 24-30 and 140 from Jan. 17-23. The 100 Mile House LHA saw three cases last week after six cases the week prior and 24 cases two weeks ago.
