
For the third day in a row today, four COVID-19 outbreaks in healthcare facilities in Kamloops did not see any growth.
The outbreak at the Brocklehurst Gemstone Care Centre remains at 32 total cases and two deaths. There had been no new cases for nine days at that outbreak before seven new cases reported between Thursday and Saturday.
There was also no growth at the Westsyde Care Residence outbreak today, which remains at 30 total cases and one death.
Highridge Home and Singh House, in Brocklehurst, remains at 13 total cases for a third-straight day.
Meanwhile, there were no new cases at the outbreak at Royal Inland Hospital, which remains at 105 total cases. There have been no cases reported at the hospital outbreak since Friday and one new case in the past week.
The rolling average for new cases continues to drop in Interior Health this month, after 92 new cases in the past four days. There were also five deaths from COVID-19 over the long weekend.
