Kamloops RCMP are investigating after a car in Rayleigh was shot in its windshield early this morning.
It happened at about 1 a.m. in the 300-block of Chetwynd Drive, and photos show a white car with a bullet hole above the driver’s seat.
Const. Crystal Evelyn says reports to police were that two men got out of a small, grey sedan and fired a single shot before jumping back in their car after speeding off.
The car was seen driving up and down the road before stopping in front of the house where the car was shot.
Evelyn says police spoke to the owner of the car that was shot and other people in the area, and also reviewed surveillance. She says police are continuing to investigate and look for a suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to call Kamloops RCMP.
