Interior Health says two more people have died today from COVID-19 at Royal Inland Hospital who were linked to the outbreak there.
That means six people in total there have died there from the virus. The outbreak grew to 105 cases before being declared over on Monday.
Meanwhile, one death has also been reported today at the Westsyde Care Residences in Kamloops. Despite the latest death, there have been no new cases at the group home for more than a week.
In total, Interior Health reported five deaths today across the health authority, as well as 30 new cases. Across the region, there are 24 people in hospital and six people in intensive care.
