The Executive Director of Clinical Operations at Royal Inland Hospital says the RIH Foundation and it’s auxiliaries are invaluable to both the Hospital and the city of Kamloops.
Kicking off the seventh-annual Radiothon on the NL Morning News, Tracy Rannie heaped praise upon the foundation. “Well first off I have to say I love the Radiothon because it reaches both in kind of a fun and engaging manner just in a different form and I love that. This last year’s been challenging with COVID and the support has been incredible. Not only by the community but by the foundation and it really supports the day to day work that they do every single day.”
Rannie, couldn’t thank the Foundation enough for their work, especially in the face of the difficult year we’ve experienced. “The contributions put forward by the RIH Foundation and auxiliaries are often done quietly but are just invaluable to the staff and a really big thank you to the foundation and auxiliary staff and board members that make that work possible.”
Last year’s Radiothon helped raise $236,000 for the RIH Foundation, thanks to the generosity of Radio NL listeners.
