There are now six schools in the Kamloops-Thompson School District with an active COVID-19 exposure.
Arthur Stevenson Elementary has been added to the exposure list today, with the risk of exposure coming on March 29, 30, 31 and April 1.
Other schools on the list are Westsyde Secondary (risk of exposure on March 31 and April 1), Brock Middle School (March 31), Logan Lake Elementary (March 29, 30), Westmount Elementary (March 23, 24, 35), and NorKam Secondary (Mar 22 and 23).
Anyone at risk of exposure would’ve already been told to self isolate by contact tracers with Interior Health.
The increase in school exposures comes on what is now the second full week back to school for public school students after spring break.
Within Interior Health, there are also active school exposures at two schools in Vernon, one in Salmon Arm, one in West Kelowna and 12 in Kelowna.
