If you’re still looking to buy tickets to the Kamloops Y dream home lottery this year, you’re out of luck as the lottery is completely sold out.
Dream home tickets sold out in 52 hours obliterating the old record of ten days set in 2019. Tickets went on sale on Tuesday and there was such a lot of demand, the website crashed minutes after sales began.
“I think the biggest thing is that I just want to thank the community for the unbelievable support of the Y Dream Home lottery,” spokesperson Bryce Herman told NL News on Tuesday.
Herman says the 88,000 tickets for the 50/50 sold out about 45 minutes after the dream home tickets did.
This year’s dream home is at #105 – 2575 Elston Drive in Westsyde, valued at $719,100. Last year, tickets for a home in Orchard’s Walk in Valleyview sold out in 12 days.
Herman noted there were 18,000 tickets available for this year’s draw which will take place on June 30.
