Two Kamloops flights are reporting COVID-19 exposures this month.
The B.C. Centre for Disease Control says the exposure was on a WestJet flight WS3111 which landed in Kamloops from Calgary this past Sunday, May 23. People in rows five through 11 were in the affected rows.
It is unclear when this person tested positive for COVID-19.
Last Wednesday, May 19, another WestJet flight WS3314 that left Kamloops for Calgary had a COVID-19 exposure on board. In this case, people in rows 12-18 were in the affected rows.
In all, there have been six flights in and out of Kamloops this year with COVID exposures on board.
Others include the April 20 WestJet flight WS3111 from Calgary to Kamloops (rows one to seven), the February 5 WestJet flight WS 3241 from Calgary to Kamloops (rows 12 to 18), the February 1 WestJet flight WS3111 from Calgary to Kamloops (rows 12 to 18) and the January 26 WestJet flight WS 3111 also from Calgary to Kamloops (the rows were not reported).
