RCMP say the crash happened around 7:34 p.m. yesterday. They believe a southbound Volkswagen Golf made a left turn onto Gibbon Road when it was hit by a westbound Honda Pilot.
The two occupants of the Volkswagen – a man and a woman – were pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the Honda suffered non-life threatening injuries.
“The investigation is ongoing and casual factors have yet to be determined.” RCMP North Division Spokesperson Cpl. Madonna Saunderson said.
