A sad end to the search for a Kamloops Man who had been missing since last Monday, June 28.

RCMP say the body of 71-year-old Mark Foan was found yesterday, July 6.

Foan was last seen at the Tim Horton’s on the Yellowhead Highway on the morning of June 28 while having coffee with a friend. Police say he never returned home to Westsyde after that meeting.

“Although a full determination has yet to be made, RCMP do not believe that criminality was involved in the man’s sudden death,” a statement from Staff Sgt. Janelle Shoihet said.

Shoihet says the BC Coroners Service is also investigating.
