For the second straight day, Kamloops firefighters were called to a house on fire in the City, this time on the North Shore.
Crews were called to a house on fire at 620 Brentwood Avenue just after 8 p.m. this evening. Several fire trucks, police, and paramedics all responded to the scene.
Thick black smoke could be seen across much of the city, including from as far as Sahali.
It is not clear what caused the fire, but it appears that firefighters were able to make quick work of the blaze this evening.
There is no word yet on a cause of this fire or if there were any injuries, though it appears everyone in the home was able to get out safely.
