
There were 123 new cases of COVID-19 over the past three days, including 42 in Interior Health.
In an update today from B.C. health officials, there 46 new cases Saturday, 47 on Sunday and 30 today.
Apart from IH, there were also 38 new cases in Fraser Health, 38 in Vancouver Coastal Health and five in Island Health.
There are now 658 active cases of the virus province-wide, including 167 in the Interior. The total active case count is three fewer than Friday.
There are also 66 people in hospital with the virus and 14 in intensive care units; those numbers of patients are down more substantially compared to Friday, when there were 73 people in hospital and 19 in ICU.
On the vaccine front, 78.8 per cent of people aged 12 and older in B.C. have received at least one vaccine dose. That number rises t0 79.9 per cent for people aged 18 and older. Of the 12-plus population, 44.6 per cent of people have been fully vaccinated.
In total, 5,721,209 vaccine doses have been administered, which is 162,180 more doses than Friday.
