Funeral arrangements have now been set for a Kamloops lacrosse coach who died suddenly last month in a motorcycle crash near the City.
A celebration of life will be held for Justin Bosher at Oasis Church, next Saturday afternoon, Oct. 2.
Bosher was killed on the Pinantan-Pritchard Road near Paul Lake back on Aug. 25. The 54-year-old was head coach of the Thompson-Okanagan Selects U18 lacrosse team
He was also a career transport truck driver, and drove the bus for the Kelowna Rockets, having done so for the Kamloops Blazers’ between 2015 and 2018.
“Justin’s most beloved treasure was coaching and watching his two boys grow to be the men they are today,” an online obituary said. “He couldn’t have been more proud of their accomplishments and lived vicariously through them as they continued in playing lacrosse at a Division 1 University level.”
“He loved them more than life and was so very proud of them.”
Since Bosher’s passing, there’s been an outpouring of support from the Kamloops as well as the lacrosse and hockey community in the province.
“Justin’s sudden passing has devastated his family and left a huge whole in so many lives, he will be greatly missed,” his obituary added.
